Considering Membership?

Are you considering becoming a Member of Woodmont? Here are some helpful tips for joining the church.

Joining the Church is simple. In the Narthex of the Sanctuary, located at the Visitor’s Table, there are Blue Postcards specifically for New Members. If you decide you would like to join the church, please fill out one of these cards at your convenience.

During worship, directly following the Sermon, our Senior Minister, Clay Stauffer, will ask the congregation to recommit themselves to Christ and he will invite all who would like to join the church to come forward at this time. If you (or your family) would like to join the church, grab your blue card and bring it forward to Clay. We will extend to you the right hand of Christian Fellowship and welcome you into our fellowship.

You can join the church in three ways:

• By reaffirmation of faith
• By reaffirmation of faith and transfer of membership from a previous church
• By affirmation of faith and a baptism to be scheduled later.

If you’d like to speak to a minister about the possibility of joining the church, please call the Church Office (297-8563) and we’ll be glad to schedule an appointment for you with any of the ministers.
